Studio Etiquette & FAQ

Welcome hOMe!

New Clients and Beginners
We love, love, love Beginners and New Clients!

Your new client package includes a 30 minute wellness consultation. During this consultation we’ll get together (with a cup of tea!) to get to know you and map out the best practice for you to achieve your goals. Our intention is to serve you the best yoga and wellness experience so that you always leave feeling better than when you came in. Yoga and meditation has changed our lives and we can’t wait to share that experience with you!

Our classes are smaller in size which allows for a more personalized experience. Our teachers will get to know you in order to help you deepen your practice and achieve your goals. Please let us know if you have any current injuries or conditions that may effect your practice.

Registration
We offer 3 convenient ways to sign up for classes!

Online: We highly recommend pre-registering for the classes you plan to attend. For our new clients, we will help you pre-book your classes and show you everything you need to know during your Wellness Consultation.

In Person via Self Check In Kiosk: If you forgot to pre-register, no worries! Use our Self Check In Kiosk located in the lobby. Please note, this option is only available if you have already purchased classes or a membership.

In Person via our Front Desk: We can set up your New Client Special and additional packages and purchases.

*Please note that New Memberships are set up by appointment either in person or via phone. This ensures that you are getting the best membership option for you!

Studio Etiquette & FAQ
Please arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to park across the street, settle in and avoid the stress of running late.

When you first arrive, place your shoes in the cubby and coats on the rack outside the studio. We have a cubby inside the studio for your belongings.* Please silence your phone. Give yourself permission to enjoy quiet time and your practice.

A Special Note About Parking
Mindfully note, our buildings parking spaces are ONLY available for PKL Physical Therapy patients and disabled students use as space is very limited.

Please park across the street in the large municipal lot (across from the church) allowing for those with limited mobility the convenience of being close to therapy.

Parking is Free and there is a safe and convenient pedestrian crosswalk.

What do I bring with me?
Just yourself! For your convenience, we have mats for you to use if you do not have your own. We also offer water and snacks in our boutique.

What should I wear?
Comfy, athletic style clothing that you would feel good stretching in. We recommend removing your socks for all classes except Restorative. For Restorative classes we recommend wearing layers (including socks) because as your body relaxes your body temperature decreases.

* Please note, Afterglow Yoga is not responsible for lost items or belongings.
* All purchases are FINAL and non-transferable. This includes retail items and services at the studio.
